Tim Power is an architect trained in California currently working in Milan. Before opening his own practice in Milan in 1994, he worked with Sottsass Associati for 3 years in the early 90's. Previous collaborations include Superstudio and Claudio Nardi in Florence and IOOA, A+O and SMWM in San Francisco.
His collaboration with FGS in Milan began in 1997 and includes the interiors for J. Walter Thompson's main offices in Milan and Multiplex theatres for UCI/Paramount. His studio has designed products for Zeritalia, Fontana Arte, Poltronova, David Design, WMF, Rosenthal, Cedit, Cassina/Interdecor, Mitsubishi and others. Interiors have been realised for Cedit, Carol Anderson, Switch, XYZ and others.
His work has been published in numerous international trade journals and books and has been shown in Milan, Florence, San Francisco, New York, Barcelona, Toyko, London, Cologne and Venice. His studio recently completed an installation for the German Pavilion of the Venice Art Bienalle and an installation for the Bienalle of Design in France. He has been teaching Design & Int. Architecture at the Istituto Europeo di Design since 1993 as well as other design schools in Europe.
